Internship Qualification

• Undergraduate students currently studying in the 2nd, 3rd, 4th year - depending on each position and graduate students are welcome.
• GPA of 2.75 and above
• A 'Can-Do Attitude' and a willingness to learn
• Able to attend onsite internship program at Banpu Head Office as below address.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly motivated Summer Analyst Intern to join our Corporate Venture Capital (CVC) team. The intern will support investment research, market analysis, and strategic evaluation of emerging technologies and startups across key themes such as AI, climate tech, deep tech, energy, and mining. This role is ideal for candidates passionate about innovation, venture investing, and strategic decision-making within a corporate environment.

Market & Technology Research

• Apply both business and technical knowledge to research emerging trends in AI, climate tech, deep tech, energy, and mining.
• Conduct industry mapping, competitive landscape analysis, and identify high-potential sectors and technologies.
• Evaluate technology readiness, product differentiation, and market traction.
  
  

Investment Analysis

• Work closely with senior investment team members to analyze business models, financial statements, unit economics, and growth metrics of potential investment targets.
• Assist in company due diligence, including customer analysis, product review, financial modeling, and market validation.
• Support valuation analysis using standard venture capital methodologies.
  
  

Reporting & Presentation

• Prepare clear, concise research reports, investment memos, and presentation materials for internal stakeholders and senior leadership.
• Summarize insights and develop actionable recommendations based on research and analysis.
  
  

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and research capabilities, with the ability to interpret both technical and commercial information.
• Familiarity with emerging technologies, innovation trends, and startup ecosystems.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and basic financial modeling.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
