Manager, Enterprise Solutions
Are You Ready to Power a Sustainable Planet?
At Ballard Power Systems, we are driven by a singular, urgent mission: to deliver innovative clean energy solutions and accelerate the global transition to a low-carbon economy. Our hydrogen fuel cell technology is actively decarbonizing energy worldwide.
Every application powered by a Ballard fuel cell represents tons of greenhouse gases kept out of our atmosphere. But to scale our clean energy manufacturing, engineering, and sales globally, we need an incredibly robust, agile, and forward-looking digital foundation.
This is where you come in. As our Enterprise Solutions Manager, you will be a key influence to our digital business ecosystem. You will create the digital engine that empowers our global teams to scale green energy.
The Opportunity: Lead Our Digital Evolution
Reporting directly to the Director of IS/IT, you will lead a dedicated team of application specialists supporting critical platforms including Oracle Fusion ERP, Oracle Service Cloud CRM, Salesforce CRM, and Oracle Agile PLM as well as our Enterprise AI solution.
Your core mandate is strategic: you will lead the planning and execution of our multi-year enterprise application modernization strategy that includes evaluating, selecting, and migrating us to replacement platforms that can support Ballard's expansion while managing costs.
How This Role Impacts Our Mission
Scales Production: Modernizing PLM and ERP ensures our engineers and factories can deploy fuel cells faster.
Enables Customer Success: Seamless CRMs and AI empower our teams to support zero-emission transit operators flawlessly.
Drives Data-Led Decarbonization: Unified global data enables rapid, strategic sustainability and operational decisions.
What You Will Do
You are a technical expert who understands enterprise software, a strategic thinker who can design multi-year roadmaps, and an empathetic leader who genuinely cares about growing people.
Your Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
8+ years of direct experience supporting enterprise-grade business systems, with 5+ years demonstrated experience directly leading technical development and support teams.
Proven track record managing and modernizing heavy-duty ERP, CRM, and PLM platforms (experience with a variety of software, including Oracle products, would be considered an asset).
Success leading large-scale system migrations, vendor evaluations, and cross-functional change management.
Familiarity operating within SOX, GDPR, and ISO270001 compliance frameworks.
Certifications such as PMP, Agile, or Scrum are highly valued assets.
What’s In It For You?
Work with Purpose: Every project you deliver directly supports the global effort to combat climate change.
Flexible Environment: We prioritize work-life balance with hybrid work arrangements.
Comprehensive Compensation: competitive base salary, performance bonuses, equity opportunities, and strong retirement savings matches.
The typical hiring range for this position is $93,840 - $146,265. Ballard considers many factors in determining total compensation, including the successful candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, experience, position location, and internal equity.
