Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing, maintaining, and reviewing financial models, including conducting sensitivity analyses and reporting their impact on business models and assumptions;
- Provide support in financial due diligence and analysis for existing and future energy storage and generation assets, including tasks related to project financing such as financial structuring, debt origination, document review, and due diligence support;
- Participate in the evaluation of strategic financial decisions and offer input and suggestions under the guidance of senior team members;
- Work closely with M&A team to evaluate investment opportunities;
- Assist in updating crucial corporate valuation metrics and engage in fundamental financial performance analysis with the guidance of senior team members;
- Undertake ad-hoc projects and special assignments as needed;
- Develops financial models and provides insights for high-level decision-making;
- Develop financial models and analyses to guide senior management's strategic decisions;
- Implement process improvements and manage compliance initiatives independently;
- Advises on investment strategies and financial compliance
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business, accounting, or economics;
- 0-2 years of relevant work experience in finance or related fields;
- Familiarity with financial research, modeling, due diligence, credit agreements, and transaction documents;
- Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint;
- Positive attitude with strong interpersonal and communication skills;
- Enthusiastic team player capable of contributing to a collaborative work environment
Compensation and Location:
Salary: A base salary commensurate with experience. Bonus: An annual bonus will be awarded based on both individual performance as well as the overall success of the business. Location: Austin, TX or Salt Lake City, UT (Hybrid). Ability to work in the United States is a requirement. Candidates are required to be based in Austin, TX or Salt Lake City, UT or willing to relocate.
