Construction Project Manager

IMMEDIATE NEED! We are seeking a Project Manage r for our space launch client located in Merritt Island. This person will lead the rapid construction of temporary structures. This is a fast-paced, short-duration engagement requiring someone who can hit the ground running Manage end-to-end construction activities, including scheduling, contractor coordination, and milestone tracking Ensure design requirements and specifications are met throughout the builds Identify and drive lead time reductions across procurement, fabrication, and installations Manage vendors and subcontractors, including scope, performance, and change orders Track project budget and flag cost variances early Oversee safety compliance and ensure all work meets applicable standards Communicate status, risks, and blockers to project stakeholders Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field 5+ years of project management experience in construction, facilities, or structures Demonstrated ability to compress schedules and manage multiple work streams simultaneously Experience managing vendors, subcontractors, and change orders Strong communication and stakeholder management skills PMP or equivalent experience preferred Experience managing construction or installation of temporary or modular structures, including tent structures Familiarity with rapid-deploy or expeditionary construction environment preferred Why Averro: HIGH CONVERSION RATE: 80+% of our placements result in extension and/or conversion to FTE BENEFITS: We offer premium benefits to our contractors BEST IN CLASS RECRUITERS: Honest, responsive, and very knowledgeable recruiters – we value our relationship with you!
