We are looking for an experienced SAP Sustainability Control Tower (SCT) Consultant to support the implementation, configuration, integration, and enhancement of SAP Sustainability solutions. The consultant will work with business and technical stakeholders to enable ESG data management, sustainability performance monitoring, carbon footprint reporting, regulatory compliance, and sustainability analytics. Type : Contract (6 months, extendable)

Experience : 10+ years

Shift -APAC Shift - 12pm to 9 pm IST - REMOTE


Required Technical Skills

  • Hands-on experience with SAP Sustainability Control Tower (SCT).
  • Experience in SCT implementation, configuration, enhancement, or support.
  • Strong understanding of ESG data, sustainability KPIs, metrics, measures, and reporting.
  • Experience with sustainability data integration from SAP and third-party systems.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA integration.
  • Experience with SAP BTP and cloud-based SAP solutions.
  • Knowledge of APIs / OData services and data integration.
  • Experience with sustainability data validation, transformation, and reporting.
  • Knowledge of SAP Sustainability Footprint Management (SFM) is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of SAP EHS / Environmental Management is an advantage.
  • Experience with sustainability dashboards, analytics, and reporting.
  • Candidates should have a good understanding of: ESG – Environmental, Social and Governance | Corporate sustainability reporting | GHG emissions Scope 1, Scope 2 and Scope 3 emissions | Carbon accounting / carbon footprint | Sustainability KPIs and targets |ESG data collection and governance | CSRD | ESRS | EU Taxonomy | Sustainability performance management | Sustainability reporting and disclosures


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead or support the implementation and configuration of SAP Sustainability Control Tower (SCT).
  • Gather and analyze business requirements related to ESG, sustainability reporting, carbon emissions, and sustainability KPIs.
  • Configure sustainability metrics, measures, dimensions, reporting structures, targets, and reporting scopes within SCT.
  • Design and implement ESG data collection, validation, consolidation, and reporting processes.
  • Integrate SCT with SAP S/4HANA and other SAP/non-SAP source systems.
  • Work with SAP Sustainability solutions including SAP Sustainability Footprint Management (SFM) and SAP EHS where applicable.
  • Configure and support ESG data management, including quantitative and qualitative ESG data.
  • Support Corporate Carbon Footprint (CCF) calculations and reporting for Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 emissions.
  • Support sustainability performance dashboards, KPI monitoring, targets, ambitions, and initiatives.
  • Configure and support EU Taxonomy reporting and sustainability-related regulatory requirements.
  • Support ESG reporting aligned with frameworks such as ESRS/CSRD and other applicable sustainability reporting standards.
  • Develop and maintain sustainability metrics, custom metrics, formulas, and calculation logic.
  • Analyze data quality issues, perform validation, and troubleshoot data upload and integration errors.
  • Configure source systems and destinations and support data replication between SCT and connected SAP systems.
