We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Operations Manager to oversee and scale Autzu’s business operations across all active and future markets. Based in San Francisco, this senior leader will play a critical role in shaping Autzu’s operational strategy, ensuring market success, and driving cross-functional collaboration across Fleet, Customer Success, and Marketing teams. This is a high-visibility role reporting directly into senior leadership, with responsibilities spanning fleet performance, vendor management, team leadership, and expansion strategy. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced, scaling environments and has the ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on problem solving. Manage operational performance across all active Autzu markets (U.S. and Canada), ensuring consistent excellence in fleet operations, driver experience, and profitability. New Market Expansion: Lead planning and execution for new market launches — hiring and onboarding local teams, establishing processes, and ensuring launch readiness. Identify, negotiate, and manage relationships with vendors, suppliers, and parking/charging providers to optimize hub strategy and cost efficiency. Partner with Customer Success and Marketing teams to maximize fleet utilization, enhance driver satisfaction, and drive retention. Team Leadership: Develop and implement training programs for Fleet Coordinators and local operations teams. Fleet Management: Oversee fleet health and performance; ensure best practices in EV maintenance, acquisition, and remarketing. Deliver regular reports to senior leadership on market performance, budgets, utilization rates, and strategic initiatives. High-Level Issue Management: 5+ years of experience in operations management (preferably in mobility, fleet, rideshare, logistics, or EV-related industries). ~ Bachelor’s degree required; Proven track record managing multi-location operations and scaling teams. ~ Strong understanding of the rideshare industry, EV technology, and fleet operations. ~ Experience with business-to-business negotiations, partnerships, and vendor management. ~ Competitive salary $80,000–$130,000+ base + potential bonus & equity opportunities .
