Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Building Automation Controls Engineer to join our growing team. This role is responsible for designing, programming, and commissioning control systems for HVAC and integrated building systems. You’ll work closely with project managers, field technicians, and clients to deliver high-quality, energy-efficient solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, configure, and commission building automation systems (HVAC, lighting, and access).
  • Create control drawings, sequences of operations, and system architectures.
  • Program and integrate Delta Controls, Siemens, or similar platforms.
  • Test, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance.
  • Coordinate with mechanical contractors, electricians, and owners to ensure project success.
  • Provide technical support during project turnover and post-installation.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and as-built records.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS/BMS) (or equivalent experience with electronics).
  • Strong understanding of HVAC control theory and sequences of operation.
  • Proficiency with one or more of the following: Delta Controls, Siemens Building Technologies, Johnson Controls, Distech, or similar systems.
  • Working knowledge of networking.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical plans.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, organization, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering (or equivalent technical experience).
  • Experience with AutoCAD or Bluebeam.
  • Familiarity with energy analytics or integration of lighting/access control systems.
  • Cx or LEED project experience is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Competitive salary range: $70,000–$120,000 per year, depending on experience.
