Energy & Infrastructure Advisory

An entrepreneurial investment banking and advisory platform is seeking an experienced professional to join its Energy & Infrastructure team in Hong Kong.

The role will focus on M&A, capital raising, and debt advisory mandates across energy transition and core infrastructure sectors. This is an opportunity to work in a senior-led, fast-growing environment with significant cross-border transaction exposure.

The Opportunity

Our client is an independent advisory and capital-markets platform advising corporates, sponsors, developers, and asset owners on strategic and financing transactions. The firm has a strong focus on complex and asset-intensive sectors, supporting clients through M&A, equity raising, private capital solutions, and structured debt financing.

The platform offers a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment, with meaningful responsibility from day one and direct interaction with senior bankers and clients. The team is particularly well positioned to support cross-border transactions involving Asian and international capital providers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute M&A, equity and debt capital raising, and strategic advisory transactions.
  • Prepare financial models, valuation analyses, pitch materials, information memoranda, and investor presentations.
  • Conduct company, asset, sector, and market analysis across energy and infrastructure.
  • Support senior bankers with client coverage, transaction management, and business-development activity.
  • Coordinate with clients, investors, lenders, legal counsel, technical advisers, and other transaction stakeholders.
  • Assist with identifying prospective clients, capital providers, and transaction opportunities.

Candidate Profile

  • Experience in investment banking, corporate finance, infrastructure advisory, project finance, private credit, or a related transaction-focused environment.
  • Exposure to M&A, financing, capital raising, or structured-debt transactions.
  • Strong financial modelling, valuation, analytical, and presentation capabilities.
  • Genuine interest in energy transition, infrastructure, and real assets.
  • Comfortable operating in a lean, entrepreneurial and execution-focused team.
  • Strong written and verbal English; additional Asian-language capability would be advantageous.
