About the Role
We are looking for an entrepreneurial and commercially driven Business Development Manager to lead Aurassure's business operations in Brazil. This is a leadership role with complete ownership of business growth, revenue, strategic partnerships, and operational excellence.
You will work closely with the global leadership team to expand Aurassure's presence across Brazil while supporting market development initiatives in the United States. This role offers significant career growth with the opportunity to lead expansion across the Americas.
Key Responsibilities
• Own and drive the overall business strategy and commercial growth for Brazil.
• Develop and execute market entry and go-to-market strategies to expand Aurassure's customer base.
• Lead enterprise and government sales, managing the complete sales cycle from opportunity identification to contract closure.
• Build strategic partnerships with government agencies, municipalities, infrastructure organisations, environmental agencies, and private sector clients.
• Identify new business opportunities across environmental monitoring, smart cities, industrial compliance, sustainability, and climate resilience.
• Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing local team across business development, operations, and customer success.
• Manage business operations, budgeting, forecasting, and overall P&L performance.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Global Leadership teams to align business objectives and customer requirements.
• Represent Aurassure at industry events, conferences, government forums, and strategic customer meetings.
• Support business expansion initiatives in the United States and travel internationally as required.
Required Qualifications
• 4–5 years of experience in business leadership, general management, business development, or commercial leadership.
• Previous experience building or scaling a startup, business unit, or regional operation is highly preferred.
• Strong track record of enterprise sales and government business development.
• Experience managing P&L, business operations, and cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated success in developing strategic partnerships and managing senior stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of market expansion, commercial strategy, and business growth.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Fluency in English is required. Portuguese proficiency will be an advantage.
