Position Summary:
The Coordinator, Talent Acquisition (TA) will provide support and assistance for a variety of administrative tasks and services to support the effective and efficient operations of People and Culture functions. As a member of the People and Culture team, the Coordinator, Talent Acquisition (TA) will work closely across Audubon with hiring managers and members of the People and Culture team.

$50,000 to $60,000 / year
Essential Functions:
  • Initiate, monitor, and complete employee onboarding activities including working across the organization to ensure preparation for employee arrivals.
  • Manage calendar reminders to supervisors on introductory or new employee status.
  • Check in with supervisors about new employee needs (computer, phones, workspace set-up) and coordinates receipt of equipment for new hires.
  • In partnership with the Senior Coordinator, Talent Acquisition, conduct and maintain weekly new hire orientation presentation.
  • Act as day-to-day contact for new hires during first 90 days of employment.
  • Complete and maintain I-9 employment authorizations; advise on related I-9 processes; works with Senior Director, Talent Acquisition on employment visas.
  • Serve as lead on maintaining and updating the HR Intranet pages with organizational changes to policies and procedures, organizational charts, and directory updates to ensure accuracy of content.
  • Maintain relevant employee documents.
  • Maintain employment labor postings on Intranet and work with offices/centers to ensure current labor law postings are visible to staff.
  • Serve as resource for general HR questions.
  • Manage intern and fellowship program including but not limited to:
o Providing guidance to hiring manages on maximizing intern/fellow engagement
o Providing continuous support, feedback and resources to the meet the individual needs of interns and fellow
o Coordinating internship/fellowship presentations at end of term
o Track, evaluate and report on multiple aspects of the internship and fellowship programs
  • Responsible for issuance of pay rate notices to new hires.
  • Perform other duties as requested and/or assigned.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • At least 2 years of relevant HR or relevant work experience is required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Management, Organizational Development, or related area preferred.
  • Strong project management experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft applications and other web-based systems. Experience with SharePoint strongly preferred.
  • Experience working with internship and fellowship programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships across stakeholder groups with an array of needs, including the ability to actively listen and offer proactive and practical solutions to employee concerns.
  • Ability to execute independent judgment.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills (written and oral) that is timely and effective; ability to explain HR policies, processes, and practices in a clear and concise manner.
  • Organized with attention to detail with ability to respond to requests for information quickly and accurately.
  • Keen interest in working with staff and members to ensure a workplace that celebrates equity, diversity, and inclusion.
  • Creative outlook to problem solving.
  • Knowledge of employment laws.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality as it relates to HR matters.
  • Ability to work independently and in support of a team is critical.
  • Ability and comfort working in multi-cultural and diverse environments.
