We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer (with a background ideally in Geospatial/Carbon/Climate/Agtech) to join the existing team working closely with fellow Software Engineers, ML/AI Engineers & Data Scientists. You will be a motivated SWE with an eye for UX/UI and looking to join a team of experienced and innovative individuals. Requirements for the Full Stack Software Engineer:
- Design, develop and maintain the front-facing web applications which deliver the business' unique insights to customers
- Use agile methodologies to manage and prioritize tasks under the guidance of a senior engineer.
- Work with the product team to understand customer personas and implement features that address user needs and improve their experience.
Qualifications for the Full Stack Software Engineer:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
- 4+ years of experience with React, Python, JavaScript with a strong understanding of modern web software architecture patterns
- Strong communication skills, and experience working in a collaborative team environment
- Experience with AWS services such as Lambda, S3, and DynamoDB
Ideal candidates will have
- Experience with web mapping technologies such as Mapbox GL, Leaflet, etc.
- Or you will come from a background within climate, carbon markets, agtech, geospatial or geotech/green-tech
