Role Overview

ATLAS SkillTech University is seeking a dynamic and interdisciplinary faculty member to teach Environmental Studies & Sustainability alongside General Management courses. The ideal candidate will combine strong academic grounding with industry awareness, capable of connecting sustainability principles to real-world business practice and preparing students for careers in a rapidly evolving, ESG-driven economy.

Key Responsibilities

Design and deliver engaging courses in Environmental Studies, Sustainability, ESG, and core General Management subjects across undergraduate and postgraduate programs.

Develop curriculum, learning outcomes, assessments, and course material aligned with industry needs and academic standards.

Integrate experiential, case-based, and project-based learning into teaching.

Mentor and advise students on academic progress, projects, and career pathways.

Contribute to research, publications, and thought leadership in sustainability and management.

Supervise student research projects, dissertations, and capstone work.

Participate in curriculum review, accreditation, and quality assurance processes.

Engage with industry partners for guest lectures, live projects, internships, and placements.

Contribute to the university's sustainability initiatives and interdisciplinary programs.

Qualifications & Experience

Ph.D. (or near completion) in Environmental Science/Studies, Sustainability, Management, or a related discipline. A Master's degree with strong industry/teaching experience may be considered.

UGC/NET/SET qualification preferred (as applicable).

Prior teaching experience at the university level; ability to teach across both sustainability and management domains.

Publications in peer-reviewed journals will be an added advantage.

Industry experience in sustainability, CSR, ESG, or corporate management is desirable.
