What You'll Do

As a Battery Test Technician, you will:

  • Execute Tests: Precisely follow product-specific test plans and procedures to evaluate battery performance.
  • Data Management: Accurately collect, organize, and store crucial test data.
  • Reporting: Summarize complex findings into clear, concise, and comprehensive reports.
  • Documentation: Create meticulous records of test procedures, results, and observations.
  • Equipment Operation: Set up, calibrate, and skillfully operate various testing equipment and instrumentation.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the test lead to efficiently drive and complete tasks on-site.

What You'll Bring

We're looking for a candidate with:

  • Experience: 1+ year of professional experience in a related technical field, or a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Technical Aptitude: A proven ability to quickly learn and master new technical tasks and concepts.
  • System Knowledge: Familiarity with various control systems and communication protocols, including Modbus, RS485, and CAN.
  • Troubleshooting Skills: The ability to diagnose and resolve issues with test equipment promptly.
  • Safety Focus: Hands-on experience working safely around Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) equipment or other relevant high-voltage technologies.
  • Energy Storage Familiarity: Experience with or strong familiarity with energy storage systems and related technologies.
  • Testing Tools: Practical experience with product testing methodologies and instrumentation tools.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, crucial for clear reporting and collaboration.
  • Technical Writing: Strong technical writing abilities to document procedures and results effectively.
  • Software Proficiency: Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook).
