Role Overview
We are seeking a Project Engineer to join our Singapore team. The successful candidate will support project operations, technical documentation, and certification processes, ensuring that our climate solutions meet the highest standards of reliability, safety, and defensibility. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams, equipment vendors, and certification bodies, with opportunities for regional travel to oversee field operations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Operations Support
- Assist in planning, monitoring, and optimizing biochar and biodigester projects.
- Conduct technical benchmarking and performance analysis of equipment and processes.
2. Life Cycle Analysis (LCA)
- Perform environmental impact assessments and carbon footprint calculations.
- Translate technical findings into clear, defensible documentation for stakeholders.
3. Equipment Procurement & Technical Support
- Support equipment selection, vendor evaluation, and procurement processes.
- Ensure operational feasibility and cost-effectiveness of technical solutions.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work with operations, legal, and finance teams to align project execution with strategic goals.
- Provide technical input for board-level briefings and stakeholder communications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Bioengineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Fresh graduate or up to 5 years of relevant experience in project engineering, sustainability, or industrial operations.
- Familiarity with LCA, carbon accounting, or environmental modeling is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and operational rigor.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical data into actionable insights.
- Willingness to travel within Southeast Asia and the broader region.
