Sr Staff Aeroelasticity Engineer

What you'll do:
- Support flutter analysis of the vehicle from preliminary design to certification in accordance with certification requirements.
- Support the generation of gust loads for the vehicle in accordance with certification requirements.
- Support aeroservoelastic analyses of the vehicle.
- Support planning, execution and data analysis of aircraft ground vibration test.
- Support planning, execution and data analysis of flight tests to demonstrate aeroelastic performance.
- Contribute to the development of the aeroelastic analysis toolchain.
- Contribute to the development of the whole aircraft finite element model and their validation to test data.
- Collaborate with internal and external customers to ensure on time delivery of data
What you need:
- BS / MS / PhD in Aerospace Engineering or related fields
- 10+ years of experience with BS, or 5+ years of experience with MS+ performing loads/aeroelastic analysis for fixed-wing vehicles and/or rotorcraft
- Experience with fixed-wing aircraft flutter analysis.
- Experience with fixed-wing aeroelastic analysis.
- Experience with finite element modelling.
- Experience with Nastran (MSC or NX) and Patran/FEMAP
- Proficiency in Matlab/Simulink scripting
- Strong technical, written, and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced design environment
- Ability to work in groups and individually
Bonus Qualifications:
- Familiarity with aircraft and rotorcraft certification standards (14 CFR Part 23, 25 and 27)
- Experience with GRCAS/RCAS
- Previous experience of planning and executing aircraft ground vibration test.
- Experience in developing loads for eVTOL vehicles, including loads for airframe components, tilting mechanisms, rotor blades, as well as variable pitch mechanisms
- Prior experience working on an aerospace certification program, from concept through V&V and certification

We drive a pay-for-performance culture and reward performance that supports the Company's business strategy. For this position we are targeting a base pay between $163,200 - $204,000. Actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
