Powertrain Program Management Intern
Archer is an aerospace company based in San Jose, California building an all-electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft with a mission to advance the benefits of sustainable air mobility. We are designing, manufacturing, and operating an all-electric aircraft that can carry four passengers while producing minimal noise.

What you'll do:
- Develop project task-based schedules and track/report milestone progress against the program management plan.
- Communicate regularly with stakeholders, providing updates on project milestones, risks, and issues.
- Identify issues, propose solutions and drive recovery plans to closure.
- Communicate regularly with stakeholders, providing updates on project milestones, risks, and issues.
- Identify and manage project Risks, Issues and Opportunities to closure in partnership with functional leads and Program Managers.
- Prepare and present project reports, status updates, and performance metrics to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
- Identify areas of improvement or gaps in current processes and develop strategies to promote efficiency and productivity.
- Collaborate with program team members and departments to establish plans and schedules that allocate resources to best achieve program requirements and service internal and external client or customer needs.
- Partner with Program Managers to support engineering priorities in our Prototype labs.
Qualifications:
- Engineering/MBA Student with multiple internships under the belt.
- Strong fundamentals in Physics, Mathematics and Mechanics of Solids.
- Ability to learn and adapt within an ambiguous environment.
- Excellent written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Hands-on experience with tools.
- Passion for solving problems.
- Experience as part of a team in Atlassian(JIRA/Confluence), Google & Microsoft Tools.
- Familiarity with small passenger aircraft or helicopters
Additional Details:
- Program duration will be approximately 3-6 Months starting June 2025
- Must be able to work a full time schedule (approximately 40 hours per week) at our office location.

Actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
