Archer is an aerospace company based in San Jose, California building an all-electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft with a mission to advance the benefits of sustainable air mobility. We are designing, manufacturing, and operating an all-electric aircraft that can carry four passengers while producing minimal noise.

What You'll Do:

  • Play a critical role in scaling Archer's senior leadership team by providing full cycle recruiting for senior level roles.
  • Utilize creative sourcing strategies and talent mapping to engage with executive and senior level candidates– your own network, executive level referrals, and a good pulse on the industry.
  • Craft a compelling pitch for leadership talent in the market, while championing Archer's culture and employment brand.
  • Provide exceptional candidate experience end to end while moving with extreme urgency but not sacrificing service to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Be a true recruiting partner to senior leadership hiring stakeholders, while inviting expertise from internal partners (Recruiting Operations, HR, Total Rewards, etc).
  • Apply Archer's established recruiting processes to meet regulatory and compliance recruitment standards for new senior leadership hires.

What You Need:

  • 8+ years of experience in a high touch recruiting environment for leadership roles.
  • Experience partnering with executives and senior leadership to understand role requirements and managing various stakeholder relationships.
  • Experience with Greenhouse or other Applicant Tracking Systems, Google Workspace and LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication with the ability to interact effectively with team members, senior level hiring managers, and candidates.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and integrity in handling confidential and sensitive information.
  • Strong communication skills at all levels of the organization, strategically managing communications with the candidate and internal teams.
  • Can critically think and problem solve in ambiguous situations.
  • Keeping a growth mindset with a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.

Bonus Qualifications:

  • Experience proposing and negotiating offers that include equity to balance the needs of the candidate and the Company.
  • Experience in a startup environment to move with speed and flexibility, along with experience recruiting in a publicly traded organization, valuing processes that tie to compliance
  • Proven and successful experience recruiting and hiring talent in senior level positions

At Archer we aim to attract, retain, and motivate talent that possess the skills and leadership necessary to grow our business. We drive a pay-for-performance culture and reward performance that supports the Company's business strategy. For this position we are targeting a base pay between $200,000 - $240,000. Actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
