Battery Cell Intern
Archer is an aerospace company based in San Jose, California building an all-electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft with a mission to advance the benefits of sustainable air mobility. We are designing, manufacturing, and operating an all-electric aircraft that can carry four passengers while producing minimal noise.

What You'll Do:
- Work closely with a small team of engineers on creative solutions to get data and analyze the data to best characterize lithium ion battery cells and how to best utilize them in Archer's eVTOL aircraft
- Hands on work in the lab: familiarize yourself with the test units, test equipment (Neware and Arbin cyclers) and their software, along with Archer's in house built custom equipment
- Software development and support work of equipment control, front end interface and monitoring and potentially more optimization work on the back end
- Battery cell data analysis and visualization, potentially small data infrastructure based on existing in house built platform
What You Need:
- Currently enrolled in a master's or bachelor's degree program related to engineering, manufacturing, computer science or a related field at an accredited university
- Programming experience in preferably Python
- Battery knowledge and experience preferred
- Eager to learn, positive attitude and highly motivated
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Able to commit to a 10 week internship

Actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
