Commercial Solar Electrician

Arch has been a leader in renewable energy solutions in Wisconsin for over 20 years! We are rapidly expanding and are now hiring a Commercial Solar Electrician to join our growing team. This position involves the installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. We're looking for a licensed electrician with hands-on experience in commercial solar, a strong work ethic, and a passion for clean energy.

Responsibilities

• Install and wire commercial solar PV systems per code and design specs
• Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of solar systems
• Read and interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams
• Work collaboratively with installers, engineers, and project managers
• Ensure compliance with all safety and electrical codes (NEC, OSHA)
• Document completed work and materials used
• Conduct testing to verify system performance

Qualifications

• Valid Wisconsin Journeyman or Master Electrician License (Required)
• Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial solar installations
• Familiarity with NEC and solar PV system standards
• Ability to read technical drawings and perform accurate electrical work
• Comfortable working on roofs, ladders, and at heights
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification (Preferred)
• NABCEP certification (Preferred)
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
