Our vision is to help others understand and use trees as a solution to many of the global issues we face today, including air quality, water quality, climate change, deforestation, poverty, and hunger.

We need a dedicated Food and Beverage Director!

You Have:

  • Passion. For the Foundation’s mission, nature, environmental stewardship and people.
  • Experience. You have a bachelor's degree with at least five years of experience overseeing food and beverage operations in a hotel setting as a senior leader
  • Planning. Your attention to detail while being able to strategically plan and organize are a talent.
  • Financial aptitude. Your ability to use reasoning and thinking skills when formulating revenue maximization strategies, budgeting, sales strategies, P&Ls, Menu planning, and cost controls are a strong suite.
  • Leadership. You are comfortable in setting performance expectations, promoting collaboration, teamwork, managing change, giving feedback, and conflict resolution come naturally to you.

You Will:

  • Service Excellence. Setting high standards for the level of service and quality experience we provide to all guests.
  • Supervise food preparation to include methods, portion control and garnishing; ensure attractive presentation of all foods
  • Monitor expenses, forecasting, and planning to keep within budgeted guidelines, watch labor costs to ensure efficiency in scheduling.
  • Requisition food and equipment, giving specifications, quantities, and quality descriptions.
  • Participate in monthly inventory verification, MOD schedule, working weekends, nights, and holidays as necessary.
  • Formulate short term and long term operational and financial plans for the food and beverage department, communicating these plans with team members on a regular basis.
  • Conduct regular food and beverage meetings, providing strategy, objective, and constructive feedback, listening to concerns and challenges so that solutions can be found.
  • Take Action in sales and marketing by surveying market to know guest needs, creating special menus for catered events to increase sales and developing innovative ideas to increase average checks, increase covers and increase liquor sales in restaurant, plan and coordinate special events.
