Join the Arbor Day Foundation as Marketing Strategist, Corporate Partnerships. The Marketing Strategist, Corporate Partnerships, is a strategic driver in advancing our mission and strengthening relationships with national and global brands. In this role, you will empower our sales and service teams by equipping them with the marketing strategies, tools, and insights needed to attract, close, and grow partnerships.
Working alongside the Senior Marketing Manager you will lead the design and execution of marketing initiatives for corporate partnerships—developing strategies, creating campaigns, tracking performance, and implementing improvements. Success in this role means increasing the visibility and impact of our partnership programs, elevating brand presence, and ensuring our partners experience meaningful value through their engagement.
This role is based in Lincoln, Nebraska, and reports to the Senior Marketing Manager. Team members are expected to be in the office on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Team members can work remotely on Wednesday and Friday, subject to their schedule and business needs.
What you’ll do:
- Plan, manage, and execute integrated marketing programs for corporate partnerships, including marketing strategies, project planning, creative brief development and metrics reporting.
- Develop strategic communications plans for corporate partners, working with the Senior Marketing Manager to ensure alignment with the Arbor Day Foundation and partners’ brand, mission and organizational goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing communications, sales, service, technology, and external partners, to drive project outcomes and ensure alignment.
- Serve as primary marketing liaison for corporate partnerships, ensuring consistent communication and successful delivery of marketing initiatives that support both partner objectives and the Foundation's mission.
- Help increase the exposure and attention of our corporate tree planting efforts.
What you’ll bring:
- Our ideal candidate brings a bachelor's degree in advertising, public relations, marketing, or a related field and 5–7 years of experience developing marketing strategies or managing client/partner accounts.
- A creative and strategic mindset, with the confidence to represent the Arbor Day Foundation and the value of our marketing function directly with clients and partners.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proven ability to create compelling sales materials and presentations, with advanced PowerPoint expertise.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to facilitate discussions across diverse stakeholder groups, influence without authority, and maintain alignment
- Comfort navigating ambiguity, with the ability to create clarity and structure, in evolving or uncertain environments
