The Arbor Day Foundation is seeking a GIS Lead Analyst to join our Technology team to own and execute the Foundation’s GIS strategy.

Experience with these technologies: ArcGIS, SQL, Microsoft Azure
Great work ethic. You’re self-driven and able to work independently or with a team. You figure things out and deliver systems of value.
Critical thinking skills. Ability to brainstorm, identify core functionality, determine impact on systems and processes will be needed for this role.
Growth Mindset. You love to explore, visualize and leverage new data sets.
Be the resident expert and champion of our GIS strategy, engaging in business initiatives, product strategy, and development efforts as needed to grow and mature our geospatial work.
Guide teams on how to leverage GIS in support of their objectives and project goals.
Cultivate our spatial data sets, understanding and explaining their purpose, and managing their change and expansion over time.
Continually explore research, literature, and data sets to identify potential tools and resources which can increase the value and rigor of our work.
Own and maintain the Foundation's ArcGIS environment, building and supporting GIS-based apps, storymaps, and data layers.
