Join the Arbor Day Foundation as a Corporate Partnerships Manager, Utilities & Municipalities with the Corporate Partnerships Team to strengthen and expand mission aligned partnerships across the utility and municipal sectors. You’ll play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth, deepening existing partner engagement, and leveraging our full portfolio of programs - including disaster recovery, employee engagement, and Community Tree Distribution.

Your Support System:

  • You’ll report to the Director, Corporate Partnerships.
  • You’ll collaborate with our Corporate Partnership Managers and Partner Relationship Managers, and with our Marketing & Communications and Program Delivery teams.

How we work:

  • Location: Lincoln, Nebraska
  • Schedule: In-office Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday; optional remote work on Wednesday and Friday.
  • Travel: 25% for conferences, industry events, territory visits, and partner meetings.
  • Territory: Broad western U.S region.

What you’ll do:

  • Build and grow a robust portfolio of utility and municipal partners, driving year-over-year revenue and impact growth. digit growth targets within the five-year business plan.
  • Contribute meaningfully to ambitious revenue targets and multi-year strategic growth objectives.
  • Cultivate, solicit, and close new partnerships that generate significant new partner revenue and expand our reach.
  • Prospect actively through cold outreach, email campaigns, conferences, and industry networking to fuel a high-quality pipeline.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on our Community Tree Distribution technology, while expanding partner engagement across all Arbor Day Foundation programs.
  • Create innovative partnership solutions that address corporate goals in sustainability, CSR, resilience, and community engagement.
  • Lead contract negotiations, agreement development, and partner onboarding.
  • Develop compelling, customized proposals and campaigns in collaboration with internal teams.
  • Retain and grow existing partnerships, contributing to industry-leading renewal rates and substantial upsell revenue.
  • Maintain accurate CRM documentation and pipeline activity to support forecasting and cross-team coordination.
  • Represent the Arbor Day Foundation at trade shows, conferences, and regional events.

What you'll bring:

  • Passion for the Foundation’s mission, nature, environmental stewardship, and people.
  • Our ideal candidate has 3+ years in sales, fundraising, business development, or corporate relations, ideally engaging senior-level executives (VP/C-suite).
  • A consultative, relationship-driven approach with exceptional listening and communication skills.
  • Strong ability to innovate, build strategic solutions, and drive urgency in decision-making.
  • Experience with utility/municipal sectors, CSR, or sustainability initiatives is highly beneficial.
  • Proven ability to manage pipelines, generate leads, and exceed revenue targets.
  • Comfort working with CRM systems and data-driven pipeline management.
  • A self-starter mindset with eagerness to build something bigger than yourself.
