Head of Energy Services

Aramark Workplace Ireland is seeking an experienced and commercially driven Head of Energy Services to lead the delivery, growth, and strategic development of our Energy Services Division.

This senior leadership role is responsible for driving consulting services, project delivery, business development, client engagement, and team leadership across both public and private sector clients. The successful candidate will ensure commercial success, operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and the continued expansion of our energy services offering.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead, develop and optimise a multidisciplinary team of energy professionals.
• Develop and execute the divisional business plan, growth strategy and resource plan.
• Lead energy-related tenders, proposals and client presentations.
• Build executive-level client relationships and identify opportunities across public and private sectors.
• Oversee the delivery of energy consultancy and turnkey project solutions.
• Manage divisional financial performance, project profitability and approval of business proposals.
• Minimise commercial, operational, contractual and capital risk.
• Oversee procurement of energy equipment and services through approved suppliers and vendors.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, quality and legal requirements.
• Drive energy efficiency and decarbonisation initiatives, including CHP, heat recovery, process optimisation and renewables.
• Design and lead client energy behavioural awareness programmes, including employee engagement campaigns, training, site energy champions and performance communications that embed energy-conscious behaviours and support measurable savings.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

QUALIFICATIONS

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services Engineering, or equivalent.
• Chartered engineering status and relevant energy management qualifications are highly desirable.
• Membership of relevant professional bodies such as AEE or Engineers Ireland is an advantage.

EXPERIENCE & CAPABILITIES

• Extensive senior leadership experience within engineering and energy services.
• Strong knowledge of utilities, CHP, renewable technologies, energy management and sustainability programmes.
