For our regional headquarters in Singapore we are looking for a


(Senior) Investment Analyst


Your responsibilities

  • Independent creation, testing and further development of integrated financial models at the asset and holding structure levels of the Group
  • Perform investment and profitability analyses, profitability calculations, sensitivity analyses and stress tests
  • Active involvement in the analysis of acquisition and due diligence documentation, including the identification of key commercial, financial and execution risks, as well as support in the preparation of high-quality internal and external documents (external bids, decision documents, business cases, financial reports and prospectuses)
  • Proactive coordination with internal functions (e.g. asset management, legal, tax & accounting and controlling) to ensure successful investment execution
  • Assist with management of greenfield and ongoing project development activities with local development team, external partners and service providers to deliver projects (i.e. financial close, construction and commercial operations)
  • Maintain a clear understanding of the overall status of assigned transactions and be able to provide senior members of the team with concise, accurate and timely updates, including key issues, dependencies, decisions required and next steps.
  • Prepare and support ongoing internal and external reporting requirements, including but not limited to, investment dashboards, project status reports, budget tracking, contracts trackers and periodic management reporting on existing investments
  • Perform any other related duties as assigned.


Your qualifications

  • Degree in business administration / economics or a related field
  • CAIA, CFA or FRM qualifications are a plus
  • A minimum of 3-4 years of professional experience ideally in investment management within the renewable energy sector or transaction advisory
  • Strong proficiency in financial, cash flow modelling and accounting concepts
  • Strong organisation and prioritisation skills
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Self-driven attitude and work ethic; and problem solving skills
  • Precise and reliable working methods coupled with a high degree of independence, implementation strength and flexibility
  • Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel (VBA) and PowerPoint
  • Fluency in English is mandatory. Other languages, in particular Mandarin, Korean, and/or Japanese, are an advantage
