In this role as Environmental Science Assistant Manager that you are about to embark on, you are required to carry out the following responsibilities:

Job Description

• Lead Environmental Science research projects from planning, field implementation, data collection, analysis, and reporting through to scientific publication.
• Act as Project Leader and ensure project milestones, research outputs, and peer-reviewed publication timelines are delivered as planned.
• Lead and supervise Environmental Science Assistants and technical staff, providing technical guidance and managing project priorities.
• Lead environmental monitoring and assessment related to ecosystem processes, carbon dynamics, and other environmental parameters.
• Oversee environmental data collection, quality control, analysis, and modelling to ensure reliable and scientifically robust results.
• Coordinate research activities and scientific outputs with internal teams, universities, research institutions, consultants, and other external collaborators.
• Review technical outputs and identify opportunities to improve environmental monitoring, research methods, data analysis, and scientific publication processes.
• Support the Manager – Environmental Science in implementing research programs, managing key deliverables, and developing new Environmental Science initiatives.
