General Summary: Responsible for performing day to day operations within the RNG operations group, focused on document gathering from clients, record keeping, interfacing with the EPA database, generation of environmental attributes (EA’s) from RNG production through credit generation and sales.
Primary Responsibilities and Competencies:
- Participate in company’s objectives within the EPA’s Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS) and other State Low Carbon Fuel Standard (LCFS) compliance programs.
- Collect recurring monthly documents and data from clients operating RNG Dispensing stations.
- Maintain project tasks and objectives in Asana and report status to supervisor.
- Update internal recordkeeping database with monthly volumes as they are received.
- Archiving documents in SharePoint and sharing these documents with qualified QAP third party auditors with high attention to detail and organization.
- Support team leads during client onboarding and ongoing compliance requirements.
- Perform QAQC on data collection and inputs on the tracker of renewable fuel inventory.
- Send out emails to clients requesting monthly utility statements.
- Facilitate facility specific data requests for third party auditors.
- Assist with quality assurance protocol (QAP) functions.
- Frequent processing and validating of large amount of Excel data as well as updating the TRM Tracker database.
- Routine check-ins and reporting with Operations, Account Managers and with Supervisors
- On-going development of systems and procedures to improve efficiency.
Required Education, Experience and Certification:
- Fluent English (spoken, read and written).
- Proficiency in technical/business communication is expected.
- Must be able to work independently and be focus driven if working remotely.
Preferred Education, Qualifications & Experience:
- University Degree or relevant working experience preferred. Preference awarded to environmental, auditing background.
- Prior experience in renewable energy, preferably in natural gas and electricity.
- Knowledgeable in North American carbon reduction policy or program.
- Experience with regulatory requirements and auditing
- Some travel may be required for annual team meetings
Skills:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word. Ability to draft professional formatted templates.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel. Ability to process large amounts of data and versatile knowledge of advanced functions and formulas.
- Exceptional organization skills and attention to detail.
