Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled NetSuite Implementation Lead to oversee the end-to-end deployment, optimization, and integration of NetSuite across the organization. This role will serve as the primary internal expert for NetSuite and will partner closely with Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, and Compliance to ensure the system supports the companys unique mix of commercial and government contract requirements.

The ideal candidate has hands-on NetSuite implementation experience, strong cross-functional project management skills, and the ability to translate complex business needs into scalable system solutions. Experience with manufacturing, renewable energy, or government contracting environments is a major plus.

Key Responsibilities

Implementation & Configuration

  • Lead the full NetSuite implementation lifecycle, including planning, design, configuration, testing, deployment, and user adoption.
  • Configure and customize NetSuite modules (Financials, Projects, Procurement, Inventory, Manufacturing, etc.) to meet company workflows.
  • Develop dashboards, workflows, saved searches, and automations to streamline business processes.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Finance on revenue recognition, project accounting, GAAP compliance, and government contract reporting (e.g., cost allocations, indirect rates).
  • Work with Operations and Supply Chain to support inventory management, procurement, manufacturing workflows, and asset tracking.
  • Collaborate with leadership to define system priorities aligned with business strategy.

Data, Integration & Reporting

  • Lead data migration efforts, ensuring accuracy and consistency across legacy and new systems.
  • Oversee integrations between NetSuite and third-party applications (CRM, payroll, field service tools, manufacturing systems, etc.).
  • Build robust reporting frameworks to support commercial operations and government contract compliance requirements.

Training & Support

  • Serve as the internal NetSuite subject matter expert.
  • Provide ongoing user training, documentation, and support across departments.
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities and implement system enhancements.

Project Leadership

  • Manage timelines, deliverables, vendor relationships, and implementation partners.
  • Ensure system design supports scalability and operational efficiency as the business grows.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of hands-on NetSuite implementation and administration experience.
  • Proven success leading end-to-end NetSuite ERP deployments in a scaling or mid-sized organization.
  • Strong understanding of core NetSuite modules (Financials, Projects, Inventory, Procurement, Manufacturing).
  • Experience working in industries with government contract requirements (FAR, DFARS, cost accounting standards) is highly preferred.
  • Background in manufacturing, renewable energy, energy services, or related industrial sectors is a plus.
  • Ability to translate complex business needs into functional system design.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to engage and influence cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
