You will:
- Set team priorities that ensure consistent, high‑quality execution
- Build and develop the technical strength of the team
- Represent the voice of the customer to influence product definition, architecture, and quality
- Partner closely with design, systems, marketing, and field teams to drive aligned execution
- Ensure customers can integrate, evaluate, and launch ADI BMS solutions with confidence
- Drive continuous improvement in tools, processes, and customer‑support scalability
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Strategy
- Lead, mentor, and grow a high‑performing applications team
- Establish clear priorities and execution frameworks
- Translate customer and market needs into product requirements and strategic insights
- Drive cross‑functional alignment with design, systems, marketing, and field organizations
- Champion customer experience and ensure ADI delivers best‑in‑class technical engagement
- Guide the team in supporting complex OEM/Tier1 integration of ADI BMS hardware, software, and system solutions
- Ensure timely, high‑quality technical support and issue resolution
- Oversee development of reference designs, evaluation platforms, demos, and application support collateral
- Provide structured feedback loops into product development, quality, and roadmap planning
- Maintain strong understanding of automotive and energy‑storage system architectures
- Ensure robust validation strategies, system‑level testing, and data‑driven analysis
- Support development of system models, algorithms, and performance‑evaluation tools
- Drive continuous improvement in documentation, tools, and customer‑enablement assets
Requirements
- BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Demonstrated experience leading technical teams (applications, validation, systems, or similar)
- Strong communication skills with ability to influence across engineering and business stakeholders
- Passion for developing people, improving processes, and driving customer success
- Ability to navigate complex system‑level concepts and challenges
- Automotive or industrial system design and processes
- Battery Systems, battery chemistry and state‑estimation algorithms (SOC, SOH)
- Functional Safety (ISO 26262, IEC 61508)
- Communication protocols (CAN, LIN, SPI, I2C, UART, wireless)
- System modeling/simulation (MATLAB/Simulink, SPICE, multiphysics tools)
- RF, EMC, and mixed‑signal test and measurement
- PCB design, mixed‑signal debugging, and system bring‑up experience
- Integration of AI into engineering workflows
