Key Responsibilities
- Report to and support the Pro Vice-Chancellor in developing and implementing sustainability strategies
- Lead university-wide sustainability initiatives aligned with global standards and best practices
- Oversee ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) reporting and compliance
- Drive sustainability research, education, and campus operations initiatives
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to advance sustainability goals *Promote awareness and embed sustainability practices across the university Qualifications
- Master’s or PhD in Sustainability, Environmental Science, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in sustainability leadership or ESG roles
- Strong knowledge of sustainability frameworks, policies, and reporting standards
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Demonstrated ability to work closely with and report to the Pro Vice-Chancellor
- Strong leadership, organisational, and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Strategic mindset with the ability to drive institutional impact
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives and meet deadlines
