Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Programme Manager located in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh. As a Programme Manager, you will oversee project planning, implementation, and evaluation to ensure timely and effective execution. Your daily responsibilities will include engaging with community stakeholders, managing teams, monitoring project progress, managing budgets, and coordinating with diverse partners and experts. You will also ensure alignment with the organization’s climate action goals by integrating innovative solutions and sustainable practices into project activities.

Qualifications
  • Project management and team leadership skills
  • Strong community engagement and stakeholder management experience
  • Understanding of sustainability, ecological restoration, and rural livelihoods
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, with proficiency in English and Hindi
  • Proficiency in data management, monitoring, reporting, and use of digital tools
  • Organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
  • Passion for climate action and community-driven models
  • Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Social Work, Rural Development, or a related field is preferred
  • Experience working in rural or underserved communities is a plus
  • Availability to work on-site in Mathura with flexibility for potential travel
