Swedfund is looking for an Impact Analyst to join its Impact & ESG team. You will play a key role in ensuring that investments deliver measurable development impact alongside financial returns — across sectors and emerging markets.
The Role
As Impact Analyst, you will integrate impact into the full investment lifecycle — from screening and due diligence, through active ownership and finally exits.

Swedfund is looking for an Impact Analyst to join its Impact & ESG team. You will play a key role in ensuring that investments deliver measurable development impact alongside financial returns — across sectors and emerging markets.
The Role
As Impact Analyst, you will integrate impact into the full investment lifecycle — from screening and due diligence, through active ownership and finally exits.
Key role associated tasks
- Conducting impact due diligence, incorporating modelling and assessment of expected development outcomes
- Participating in investment meetings, negotiations, and international site visits
- Supporting portfolio monitoring and active ownership through impact measurement and value-creation initiatives
- Contributing to exit processes
- Producing high-quality impact related presentations, reports, and documentation
- Managing consultant engagements
- Supporting the development of thematic Impact & ESG priorities
Your sound analytical skills are complimented by your ability and commitment to delivering measurable impact in investments. Aside from this, relevant candidates should boast the following,
- Advanced degree (MSc, MBA, or equivalent) in international development, sustainability, finance, or related field
- Experience from investment processes gained from financial services, consultancy, industry, or development finance
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Excellent professional English
- Knowledge of impact frameworks, modelling, and development effect assessments (highly meritorious)
- Proven ability to collaborate across international, multi-sectorial teams
- International experience (a strong advantage)
