Position overview & purpose

We are seeking a diligent Facilities Support Technician to join our team, providing essential support to our Facilities Engineer in the startup of our Scott's Valley, CA manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate is a hands-on individual with a keen eye for detail, who thrives in a dynamic environment.

Essential duties & responsibilities

  • Provide support to the Facilities Engineer during the facility startup, including assisting with equipment installation, utility hookups, and troubleshooting.
  • Participate in daily maintenance projects, aiding in the efficient operation of the facility.
  • Comply with safety policies and regulations, fostering a culture of safety within the facility.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, helping to optimize facility operations.
  • Perform other duties as directed by the Facilities Engineer.


Knowledge, skills & abilities

  • Basic understanding of engineering and facilities management principles.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and attention to detail.


Basic qualifications & competencies

  • High School diploma or equivalent required; trade or vocational school is a plus.
  • Prior experience in a technical support role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Must be able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.


Physical demands and working environment

  • Physical stamina and the ability to lift 50 lbs.
