Job Summary

Responsibilities

  • Identify and evaluate emissions reduction opportunities across manufacturing processes and supply chain operations
  • Develop comprehensive business cases including emissions abatement potential, return on investment analysis, and detailed implementation roadmaps
  • Conduct technology assessments and market scans to identify emerging decarbonization solutions
  • Design and structure innovation projects with clearly defined milestones, success metrics, and governance frameworks
  • Lead cross-functional teams spanning engineering, operations, procurement, and sustainability functions
  • Develop detailed project plans including resource requirements and risk mitigation strategies
  • Oversee project execution to ensure delivery meets timeline, budget, and emissions reduction targets
  • Build and maintain relationships with semiconductor suppliers, manufacturing partners, and technology providers
  • Coordinate closely with procurement teams to integrate sustainability considerations into sourcing decisions
  • Present project updates, findings, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership
  • Serve as subject matter expert on semiconductor manufacturing processes, supply chain dynamics, and emissions sources
  • Provide technical guidance on decarbonization technologies including process optimization, energy efficiency, renewable energy integration, and circular economy approaches
  • Establish key performance indicators and measurement frameworks to track project performance and emissions impact
  • Document methodologies, outcomes, and lessons learned throughout project lifecycles
  • Create dashboards and reporting mechanisms to communicate progress and results
  • Develop training materials and capability-building programs to enhance organizational knowledge
  • Track industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in manufacturing decarbonization
  • Ensure alignment with established sustainability reporting frameworks and standards
  • Create comprehensive transition documentation to ensure project continuity beyond contract period
  • Prepare detailed end-of-contract summary report capturing achievements, insights, and recommendations

  • Demonstrated experience in semiconductor manufacturing or supply chain environments
  • Proven track record deploying complex innovation projects within time-constrained settings
  • Experience working as a contractor with ability to deliver immediate impact
  • History of managing cross-functional teams and driving collaborative outcomes

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Sustainability, Supply Chain Management, or related field
  • Project Management Professional (PMP), Lean Six Sigma, or equivalent certification
  • Master's degree in Engineering, Business, Sustainability, or Supply Chain Management (preferred)
  • Direct experience in sustainability or decarbonization initiatives within semiconductor or electronics manufacturing (preferred)
