Sustainability & Sourcing Manager
At AMARA Sustainable Fashion, we are looking for someone who can help us bring our purpose to life: creating fashion that looks good, lasts longer and creates a more conscious impact.
As our Sustainability & Sourcing Manager, you will make sure that our materials, suppliers and sourcing processes are aligned with our values of sustainability, quality and transparency. You will work closely with our design, production and operations teams to find the right balance between sustainability, quality and cost.
Responsibilities
- Search for, evaluate and select responsible suppliers.
- Negotiate prices, conditions and agreements with suppliers.
- Research recycled, organic and lower-impact materials.
- Track sustainability KPIs such as water use, waste and responsible materials.
- Make sure suppliers follow our environmental and social standards.
- Work with design and production teams to introduce more sustainable alternatives.
- Identify opportunities to reduce waste and improve our processes.
- Support circular fashion projects, including clothing repair, reuse and recycling.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, Fashion, Sustainability, or a related field.
- Knowledge of supply chain, sourcing and sustainability.
- Interest in sustainable fashion and circular economy.
- Advanced English for communication with international suppliers.
- Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
- Good communication, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- A proactive, responsible and creative person who enjoys working as part of a team.
- Most importantly, someone who genuinely connects with AMARA’s purpose and values.
What We Offer
- Monthly salary of $35,000-$45,000 MXN gross, depending on experience.
