Our client, a non-profit focused on the development of the green economy, is looking for someone with 3+ years of experience in the utility-scale renewable energy industry that can identify, understand, and access the viability of projects within this space. An embedded knowledge of South African Energy policy would put you a cut above the rest, and a network of private and government funders would earn you a gold star. Energy modelling experience will earn you two.
Our ideal candidate can pull a master's degree in engineering, economics, finance, resource management, or environmental science out of their back pocket.
You would be exposed to a wide variety of projects in the energy field, including energy efficiency, smart grids, and electric vehicles. Not to mention the fact that you would be part of an incredible team of industry professionals that have a direct hand in promoting a low carbon economy that is both resource efficient and socially inclusive.
