Key Responsibilities/Required Skill set:

• Good Knowledge of key national and international sustainability standards such as IFRS S1&S2, SASB, GRI, TCFD, TNFD, GHG protocol, Ministry of Climate Change (GoP), Provincial Governments, SBP, SECP and Reporting and Disclosure Guidelines of various countries and Green Taxonomies;
• Good knowledge of national and international Environmental and Social (E&S) laws, policies and regulatory requirements;
• Strong knowledge of E&S risk assessment policies, procedures, strategies, methodologies and practices;
• Good knowledge of green financing, green bonds and social impact bonds and sustainable equity strategies;
• Ability to analyse large datasets to measure carbon footprints and evaluate E&S risks;
• Fair knowledge of IT systems/applications;
• To implement E&S risk policies, frameworks, roadmaps, strategies and targets of the Bank;
• To conduct and report environmental and social (E&S) risk assessment of credit portfolio and to provide effective support through E&S risk assessment of credit proposals;
• To ensure that E&S risks are mitigated and opportunities are maximized;
• To develop and present various E&S risk reports to the internal and external stakeholders;
• To provide Green Advisory Services to the Bank and the existing as well as potential obligors;
• To collaborate with other functions of the Bank to ensure implementation of E&S risk policies and procedures;
• To identify staff training needs assessment to ensure their career progression;
• Any other assignment assigned by the line management;
• Meticulous attention to details required for data assurance;
• Should have strong analytical, critical thinking and multi-tasking skills;
• Ability to work under pressure, problem solving and decision-making skills;
• Thorough knowledge of regulatory requirements, banking operations and other banking policies, procedures.

Location: Lahore

Experience: 5 to 7 years of experience in relevant field.

Qualification:

Preferably Master or at least Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, MBA or any other related degree from HEC Recognized university/Institute.
