Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Technician with a strong background in both service and installation. This role is ideal for a technician who understands full system installs, diagnostics, and customer-focused solutions. Residential experience is required; commercial experience is a plus.

Compensation

$25–$50 per hour, based on experience and performance
Company van provided
Technician provides own tools

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, service, and install residential HVAC systems
• Understand full-system replacements and energy-efficient upgrades
• Present repair, replacement, and upgrade options to customers
• Participate in PSE&G and state grant–related projects
• Upsell and cross-sell services when appropriate
• Complete accurate documentation and job reporting
• Participate in emergency and on-call rotation (details discussed during interview)
• Collaborate with team members and support company standards

Qualifications

• Proven experience in residential HVAC service and installation
• EPA Certification (required)
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Team-oriented mindset with a growth-focused attitude

Preferred Qualifications

• Commercial HVAC experience
• Experience with energy efficiency programs, rebates, or grants
• Sales experience in HVAC service or replacement
• Additional HVAC certifications or licenses
