Base Salary: £110,000 – £140,000 (Dependent on experience)

Our client is a premier engineering and energy consultancy renowned for delivering cutting-edge decarbonisation, renewable integration, and sustainable design solutions across the built environment. In response to sustained commercial growth and increasing demand for energy-transition expertise, they are appointing a Director of Energy & Sustainability to accelerate their market expansion across the UK
The Role
- Will provide strategic leadership across major energy, sustainability and decarbonisation programmes, overseeing technical delivery, commercial performance and long-term business objectives.
- Will develop and maintain senior relationships with major asset owners, developers, utilities and industrial clients, identifying opportunities for new projects and strategic partnerships.
- Will lead multidisciplinary engineering and consultancy teams, providing direction across energy efficiency, renewable integration, low-carbon infrastructure and sustainable development.
- Will contribute to business growth through strategic planning, work winning, key account development and the management of high-value project portfolios.
The Person
- Will ideally hold a degree qualification in Engineering, Energy Management, Environmental Science or a related technical discipline.
- Will offer significant senior leadership experience within an engineering, energy or sustainability consultancy, with a strong track record of delivering complex technical programmes.
- Will possess excellent commercial awareness, ideally with experience managing P&L, developing client accounts, winning major contracts or growing multidisciplinary teams.
- Will be an accomplished senior leader with a sound understanding of the energy transition, decarbonisation and sustainable infrastructure, capable of influencing executive stakeholders across UK and international markets.
