Role Description The PV Manager will oversee the operational performance and management of photovoltaic plants, ensuring optimal energy production, safety, and regulatory compliance. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring plant performance, coordinating maintenance activities, supervising on-site teams and contractors, and managing technical documentation and reporting. The role involves collaborating with engineering, finance, and project development teams to support continuous improvement, troubleshoot issues, and implement efficiency measures across PV assets. The PV Manager will also contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and lifecycle planning for solar installations. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bolzano.
Qualifications
  • Strong technical knowledge of photovoltaic systems, including plant operations, performance monitoring, and basic electrical engineering concepts.
  • Experience in project and operations management, including coordination of maintenance activities, contractor oversight, and adherence to HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) standards.
  • Ability to analyze performance data, prepare reports, and use relevant software tools (SCADA systems, MS Office; familiarity with CMMS or similar platforms is a plus).
  • Solid organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple assets or projects simultaneously.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical, financial, and commercial functions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, renewable energy, or a related technical field; equivalent professional experience in PV or renewable energy operations will be considered.
  • Knowledge of European renewable energy regulations and grid connection requirements is beneficial.
  • Professional proficiency in Italian and good command of English; additional European languages are an asset.
