Rotating Equipment Supervisor – Ref. JOB-1558
Description
As part of major industrial projects in the energy / petrochemical sector, we are looking for a Rotating Equipment Supervisor to work on one of the largest green hydrogen production projects in Europe. Based in the Netherlands, you will be responsible for supervising and monitoring all activities related to rotating equipment on site.
Your Responsibilities
- Supervise installation, alignment, and commissioning of rotating equipment (pumps, compressors, turbines, etc.)
- Monitor subcontractors’ work and ensure compliance with technical specifications
- Verify equipment and installation conformity with applicable standards
- Participate in mechanical completion, performance testing, and start-up activities
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to rotating machinery
- Ensure strict compliance with HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) regulations on site
- Prepare progress and activity reports
- Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- Experience in industrial Greenfield projects
- Minimum 10years experience in supervising rotating equipment in industrial environments (oil & gas, energy, petrochemical…)
- Strong knowledge of rotating machinery (pumps, compressors, turbines)
- Experience with installation, alignment, and commissioning procedures
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work on-site
- Fluency in English
