Role Description

Analyze sustainability, environmental, social, and governance (ESG) performance to support corporate sustainability strategies, regulatory compliance, and responsible business practices. This role is responsible for collecting, validating, and analyzing ESG and carbon emissions data, developing sustainability reports and dashboards, monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs), and supporting the organization's environmental and climate-related initiatives. The successful candidate will collaborate with sustainability, finance, operations, procurement, legal, risk, and executive leadership teams to evaluate ESG performance, identify improvement opportunities, and ensure compliance with evolving sustainability regulations and reporting standards. The role also involves preparing carbon footprint assessments, conducting greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions analysis, coordinating ESG disclosures, monitoring climate-related risks, supporting sustainability audits, and driving continuous improvements in environmental performance and ESG data governance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Environmental Engineering, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree is an advantage.
  • Proven experience in sustainability reporting, ESG analysis, environmental analytics, carbon accounting, corporate sustainability, business intelligence, or regulatory reporting roles.
  • Strong understanding of ESG frameworks, sustainability reporting standards, greenhouse gas (GHG) accounting, climate risk assessment, carbon footprint analysis, and environmental performance measurement.
  • Experience preparing ESG disclosures and sustainability reports in accordance with frameworks such as GRI, ISSB, SASB, TCFD, CDP, GHG Protocol, ISO 14064, or other internationally recognized sustainability standards.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SQL, and experience developing dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar business intelligence platforms.
  • Experience collecting, validating, and analyzing environmental data related to energy consumption, emissions, waste management, water usage, renewable energy, supply chain sustainability, and resource efficiency.
  • Familiarity with cloud data platforms, ETL/ELT processes, ESG reporting software, enterprise data management systems, and sustainability analytics tools is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex sustainability data and develop actionable recommendations that support environmental and business objectives.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to prepare executive reports, coordinate cross-functional ESG initiatives, and communicate findings to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of Python, R, GIS technologies, lifecycle assessment (LCA), predictive analytics, or environmental modeling techniques is an advantage.
  • Professional certifications such as GRI Professional Certification, CFA Institute Certificate in ESG Investing, ISO 14001 Lead Auditor, LEED Accredited Professional, SASB FSA Credential, or equivalent sustainability and ESG qualifications are considered an advantage.
