Procurement Specialist (Full Time or Part Time)

Airxchange is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Specialist to join our team. This role is designed to backfill a long-standing employee who has been a key member of our purchasing and inventory operations team. The ideal candidate will help ensure continuity of institutional knowledge while bringing fresh energy and precision to our procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Issue and manage purchase orders (POs) with vendors and suppliers for required materials and products that support day-to-day needs of various departments.
• Ensure proper documentation is obtained and comply with company policy.
• Receive incoming deliveries into the ERP system and verify accuracy against purchase orders and resolve any order discrepancies, both internally and externally.
• Maintain records of scrap, obsolete and offsite inventory, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
• Work closely with suppliers to resolve discrepancies, ensure timely deliveries, and maintain strong relationships.
• Assist in identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
• Collaborate with various departments, including operations and finance on daily tasks.

 Qualifications

• Experience in purchasing, procurement, or inventory management (manufacturing or industrial setting preferred).
• Familiarity with inventory systems and ERP software (Acumatica strongly preferred).
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

 Work Arrangement

• Open to full-time or part-time candidates.
• Candidates must be available to work on-site at our Rockland office; this position does not offer remote or hybrid arrangements.
