The role

The role you’ll play

As our new Manager in the Finance team, you will have a varied role with responsibility for the financial management of your own portfolio of investments. You will collaborate closely with our external service provider in Luxembourg and colleagues across Investment and Asset Management, combining portfolio-specific responsibilities with broader financial management and reporting.

You will join our Finance team of 10 employees, including five colleagues in similar roles. We are a close-knit team that supports each other, values collaboration and aims to have fun while delivering high-quality work. We also respect that people have lives outside work.


You will take ownership of your own portfolio, with opportunities for sparring and support from colleagues and peers. Your work will primarily focus on the financial management of our funds within the Luxembourg structure, while also covering other investments and entities managed by AIP. As AIP continues to grow and develop, the Finance team and the scope of this role will evolve accordingly.

  • Collaborating closely with our external service provider in Luxembourg and the Asset Management team to understand the operational and financial matters affecting the investments in your portfolio.
  • Preparing investor reporting on the financial position and performance of the relevant funds and portfolio companies.
  • Maintaining and updating financial reporting models, ensuring accurate and timely information.
  • Communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including investors, advisers, auditors and depositaries.
  • Conducting financial analysis across your area of responsibility and managing the execution of fund flows.
  • Taking overall financial responsibility for the investments and entities in your portfolio.
  • Contributing to and leading ad hoc projects that support AIP’s strategy, including process improvements enabled by technology.


What you’ll need to bring

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
  • Significant relevant experience, ideally including at least five years in auditing followed by several years in an in-house Finance role.
  • Strong IT skills, particularly in Excel and ERP systems, combined with a natural interest in using technology to improve processes.
  • A structured and hands-on approach, with the ability to plan work, contribute to delivery and maintain attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Danish and English.


This will make you stand out

  • Experience from investment management, fund management or a related industry.
  • Experience using robotic process automation, AI or other technologies to improve Finance processes.
