Role: Level 4 – Associate Director, Origination - Europe
Location/Office Policy: Office Centric and office base MWS, Dublin.

You will be required to support best in class origination, risk management and deal execution across Climate & Infrastructure Capitals growing portfolio.
Key accountabilities;
- Work closely with Origination Directors to develop new and enhance existing customer relationships through good communication and customer focus
- Lead on the analysis of new business transactions from a technical, credit and suitability perspective
- Perform and review financial modelling analysis and run detailed sensitivity analysis
- Lead the credit review process for new business for consideration by the relevant Credit Authority as well as for annual reviews and transaction amendments
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with other parts of AIB, including Treasury and Corporate Legal, as well as industry contacts, lenders and legal counsel
- Form an integral part of the risk management culture in AIB and adherence to codes of conduct, laws and regulation
- Contribute in determination of risk and deal selection strategy
- Contribute to ongoing Credit Risk model development
- Support credit reviews and internal audit engagements for the Climate & Infrastructure Capital portfolio
- Manage transactions and help develop more junior staff members
- Communicate the impact and key risks and mitigants associated with same
- Make a difference through strategic lending to circular economy and sustainable businesses
- Relevant 3rd level qualification and 5+ years' experience within a similar area which could include Banking, Advisory or Industry. A professional qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CFA) would be an advantage.
- Strong Financial Analysis, Strong credit skills and Proficiency in financial modelling
- A proven awareness of sustainable lending and a self-motivated, analytical and results focussed mindset
- Team player with strong written and verbal communication and influencing skills
- Knowledge and experience of the development and business application of credit risk modules utilised for the calculation of regulatory capital or ECL would be beneficial
