  • Data management & analysis: Compilation and statistical analysis of historical data on cereal fertilization (focus on wheat)
  • Scientific publications: Further development and completion of ongoing analyses and publication of results
  • Research projects: Support in the planning, coordination, and implementation of field trials (field work, scoring, sampling, measurements, and laboratory analyses)
  • Variety testing: Active support in the implementation and evaluation of variety trials
  • Knowledge transfer: Contribution to report writing and support in presenting project results (e.g. conferences, field days)

This makes you unique

  • Master's degree in agronomy, plant sciences, or a related field
  • Experience in data analysis and statistical evaluation of field trials
  • Interest in applied research in crop production
  • Structured, independent, and reliable working style
  • Team player with strong communication skills
  • Very good knowledge of two official Swiss languages and spoken and written English

The 'Cultivation Techniques and Varieties in Arable Farming' Research Group is dedicated to researching sustainable production techniques and new climate-change-adapted varieties for the main field-crop species cultivated according to various production techniques (integrated production, quality labels or organic farming). To accomplish its mission, it is active in testing, mainly in the field, from Lake Geneva to East Switzerland.
