Agami Zero is developing hydrogen-powered off-grid energy systems designed for grid-constrained and remote environments. Our platform integrates hydrogen fuel cells, battery systems, thermal management, and modular charging infrastructure to enable resilient, scalable clean energy deployment without major grid upgrades.
We are focused on applications including:
- Off-grid and edge-of-grid EV fast charging
- Mountain towns and ski resorts
- Remote infrastructure deployments
- Fleet and transportation energy systems
- Resilience and distributed energy applications
Agami Zero is actively advancing pilot and partnership discussions across Colorado and beyond, while pursuing strategic collaborations in hydrogen systems, infrastructure deployment, and advanced electrolysis technologies.
We are seeking a strategic finance leader to help guide the company through its next stage of commercialization, partnerships, fundraising, and infrastructure deployment.
Position Overview
We are looking for a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) / Head of Strategic Finance with experience in climate infrastructure, deeptech, energy systems, or industrial technology commercialization.
This role is ideal for someone who understands how to bridge:
- Deep technology
- Infrastructure deployment
- Venture financing
- Non-dilutive funding
- Strategic partnerships
- Long-term project finance strategy
The ideal candidate will work closely with the founders to support:
- Fundraising and investor engagement
- Financial strategy and modeling
- Infrastructure commercialization planning
- Government funding strategy
- Strategic partnerships and deployment economics
This position can be structured as either:
- Full-time, or
- Part-time with a pathway to full-time leadership
depending on candidate fit and experience.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Finance & Fundraising
- Support early stage fundraising efforts
- Build investor-ready financial models and deployment economics
- Assist with capital strategy and fundraising materials
- Support investor diligence and financial storytelling
- Help structure financing strategies for future infrastructure deployments
Infrastructure & Commercialization Strategy
- Develop financial models for hydrogen-powered EV charging and energy deployments
- Support commercialization planning for pilot projects and infrastructure rollouts
- Evaluate deployment economics, utilization assumptions, and scalability pathways
- Assist in developing long-term energy-as-a-service and infrastructure ownership models
Non-Dilutive Funding & Grants
- Support SBIR/STTR, DOE, DoD, and other non-dilutive funding strategies
- Assist with budgeting, compliance, reporting, and grant financial planning
- Help structure public-private partnership opportunities
Strategic Partnerships
- Support evaluation and structuring of strategic collaborations
- Assist with partnership economics, LOIs, and commercial frameworks
- Participate in discussions with corporate, infrastructure, and institutional partners
Financial Operations
- Help establish scalable finance and reporting processes
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
- Assist with financial governance and operational scaling
- Support future infrastructure finance and deployment planning
Preferred Qualifications
Required
- U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident
- Experience in climate tech, energy, infrastructure, mobility, industrial technology, or deeptech sectors
- Experience supporting startup fundraising and investor engagement
- Strong financial modeling capabilities
- Ability to operate in fast-moving, early-stage environments
- Strategic and execution-oriented mindset
Work Authorization Requirements
Due to the company’s planned participation in U.S. government-funded programs and strategic commercialization initiatives, preference is currently limited to U.S. Citizen, or U.S. Permanent Resident. This helps support eligibility alignment for certain federal funding pathways and compliance-related requirements.
