We are seeking a skilled and motivated Sustainability & Climate Change Expert to join our team. The candidate must have a deep understanding of BRSR, ESG and Sustainability Reporting, CBAM, and preparation of GHG Inventory, and Basics Knowledge of Voluntary Carbon Market.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop a business development strategy for the Sustainability and Climate Change Vertical. 
  • Conduct Market Analysis for Climate change & Sustainability Business development
  • Develop and implement climate change mitigation and adaptation strategies for organizations
  • Support organizations and governments in achieving net-zero and sustainability targets.
  • Support organizations and the government’s carbon credit project development and decarbonization roadmaps.
  • Engage with carbon standards, registries, VVBs, and market participants. 
  • Conduct GHG inventories and carbon footprint assessments. 
  • Support organizations in measuring and managing Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions. 
  • Develop Monitoring, Reporting, and Verification (MRV) frameworks. 
  • Ensure compliance with international reporting standards and disclosure frameworks. 
  • Prepare climate-related reports and emissions reduction strategies.
  • Develop sustainability policies, frameworks, and implementation plans. 
  • Support ESG strategy development and reporting. 
  • Conduct sustainability assessments and gap analyses. 
  • Advise on sustainability performance indicators and monitoring systems. 
  • Promote sustainable business practices and resource efficiency.
  • Responsible for Executing & Managing carbon credits and trading for the projects. (Agriculture, Forestry and Other Land Use & Non-Agriculture, Forestry and Other Land Use)


Requirement:

  • Should have 3-5 years of proven experience in the domain.
  • Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Climate Change and International Policies, Sustainability Management or related fields.
  • Must have worked on at least one carbon credit project throughout the life cycle
  • In-depth knowledge of international sustainability and carbon standards, methodologies, and protocols (e.g., , Verra, Global Carbon Council, and Gold Standard).
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building and maintaining client relationships.
  • Familiarity with carbon trading & other corelated climate platforms.
