Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Simulation Expert role based in Noida. The Simulation Expert will develop and run building performance simulations, including energy modeling, CFD analyses, and environmental assessments, to support high-performance and Net Zero design goals. The role involves interpreting simulation outputs, preparing clear reports and presentations, and collaborating closely with mechanical, electrical, fire engineering, and sustainability teams to refine design decisions. The Simulation Expert will contribute to concept design, detailed design, and commissioning support, ensuring that simulation insights are integrated throughout the project lifecycle. Daily activities include coordinating with project managers and clients, validating models against design assumptions, and helping identify cost-effective, optimized solutions that enhance building efficiency and occupant comfort.
Qualifications
  • Candidates should possess strong building performance simulation skills, including experience with energy modeling tools (e.g., EnergyPlus, eQuest, IES-VE, DesignBuilder) and building physics.
  • Candidates should possess CFD modeling and analysis skills for airflow, thermal comfort, and wind studies, using relevant software (e.g., ANSYS, OpenFOAM, or similar tools).
  • Candidates should possess skills in sustainability and green building design, including familiarity with Net Zero Energy/Water concepts and rating systems (e.g., LEED, IGBC, GRIHA).
  • Candidates should possess skills in interpreting technical data, preparing clear documentation, and communicating simulation results to multidisciplinary teams and clients.
  • Candidates should possess proficiency in engineering or architectural fundamentals, ideally with exposure to mechanical, electrical, and public health systems in buildings.
  • Relevant qualifications include a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, Energy Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Additional beneficial qualifications include experience with fire engineering simulations, parametric modeling, scripting (e.g., Python, MATLAB), and working on international and domestic projects.
