XCEL is a leader in drilling services for renewable energy, industrial, and infrastructure projects across the U.S. Our team is built on safety, efficiency, and reliability. We are seeking hardworking and motivated Construction Laborers to support our drilling operations in Abilene, Texas.
Position Overview:
The Construction Laborer will assist our drilling crews with daily site operations. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety. Work hours are Monday through Friday, up to 12 hours per day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist drilling operators with daily site tasks and equipment setup.
- Load, unload, and move materials and tools around the jobsite.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Perform general labor duties including lifting, carrying, and site preparation.
- Follow all safety protocols and company procedures.
- Support team productivity by being reliable, on time, and adaptable to changing project needs.
Qualifications:
- OSHA 10 certification (required).
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently.
- Able to work long hours standing, walking, and performing physical tasks.
- Willing to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Construction or drilling experience is a plus but not required.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday (Some weekend work may be required)
- Up to 12 hours per day, with overtime as needed
